My third book: Effective business on Web 2.0
My new book arrived on the market these days. For those of you who can read in Czech language it brings some practical tips of how to use internet applications dubbed “Web 2.0” in everyday business. We are not in a fully automated world yet, but we are getting closer and closer to this vision literally every day. Enjoy!

Oh I see! And is this the reason you restarted blogging 4 days before this announcement after half a year of silence? Or all your ideas from that pause went to the book so in fact the book is the missing half year of your blog? Sorry for the bitter comment, I just can't pretend to ignore the strange coincidence.
The problem of this blog is that it is not a blog (at least in the original meaning of the word blog). I started it as a place where we can jointly discuss some interesting ideas about future internet developments. If it was a real blog, it would be no problem for me to update it every day, or even several times a day. This morning I could have for example mentioned that I had a nice biking trip yesterday; yesterday I could have posted about the meeting of my class 25 years after our “A-level” exam. And do you know that there is a nice and very hot day in Prague today? :-).
But there are lots of places like this on the net, so I hope Internet can afford to have in addition some places which are not updated that regularly. Places that are updated only when time and energy of their authors allow.
And yes, you are of course sort of right – I had to make some extensive writing in Czech to prepare the book; on the other hand, we all know that our level of energy is not constant. Sometimes I feel that the more I write, the more I can write. So the best answer to your question is that my main barrier for posting more frequently is simply “auto-censorship”. The feedback I received from readers tells me that this blog contains some good ideas already. So I always think twice before I post another idea here.
Anyway, I take one thing from your comment. I should return to my original intention: the blog is about discussion, not about presenting nearly finished ideas. Thanks for posting!
I feel sorry not to discover your weblog sooner - anyway, I'm really looking forward to your book (asked yesterday in some bookstores in Brno without success).
as for your comment: i believe that blog is a great place for discussion, but it also needs new topics to spin around - since otherwise it's better to have a forum (like webtrh.cz). e.g. i discovered your blog, but i wonder whether responding to the older posts can start a new discussion, since it's gonna be buried back in the archive...
Good for people to know.
