Google adds coral reef panoramas to Street View maps - is it on purpose, to show the imperfection of Apple maps?

Mapping application is a platform - the more people use it, the better it is (and of course vice versa). These days are crucial for the success or failure of new maps from Apple. Google does not help his rival and adds another icing on the cake to his already mature maps.
